Presbyterian Women or “PW” is a national organization of the Presbyterian Church (USA) that provides excellent Bible and spirituality resources and mission opportunities targeted to women. St. Stephen’s PW offers meetings (“circles”) at a variety of times to accommodate women in all walks of life.
Responsible for providing the flowers and other seasonal appointments used throughout the church buildings, particularly in the Sanctuary. The Guild meets monthly September-May.
All women of St. Stephen are welcome to be included in circles. The circles meet at the following times and locations:
Circle I – meets at the church at 10:30 a.m. on the first Tuesday of each month in the Eastminster Room for Bible study and a light lunch.
Circle II – meets at 10:00 a.m. in various members’ homes on the second Tuesday of each month for Bible study and coffee.
L.O.T.E. – meets at 6:30 p.m. in homes on the third Monday of each month for Bible study and a potluck supper.
Meets monthly on the third Thursday at 9:30 a.m. to make sandwiches for the Presbyterian Night Shelter. Volunteers are always welcome. Please contact the church office if interested at 817/927-8411.
Meets each Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary Sacristy to prepare and deliver the flowers from the previous Sunday to sick, home-bound members and friends. Both men and women are welcome and encouraged to participate in this ministry. You may contact Judi in the church office at 817/927-8411.
